- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪DOCTOR DEATH - DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR! The "tech/nurse" with all the tattoos yelled at my dying sister and she WILL yell at you too. I didn't believe it myself so I went with my sister to her next visit. My sister apologized to the "tech / nurse" for making her so mad when she saw her. She told my sister she wasn't mad at her she was mad at Dr. Shepherd. So she yelled at a dying person??? I asked that Dr. Shepherd call me and she never did. The office staff there is extremely rude. My sister begged me not to say anything because there aren't a lot of cancer doctors in that area. My sister has now passed away so I am able to let everyone know. Dr. Shepherd does NOT care about her patients. They just run patients through the practice until they die. Patients need to be told about all treatments not just what their insurance covers. The level of care is so minimal. Do your research and if you go here now and get treated poorly leave while you're still ahead. It will not get any better! I've seen and heard it happen with several patients. I met a lady in Walmart in Cleveland and she said the same thing. The UCBC need to look into this "doctor".September 15, 2017by Tracie Harris
- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My mother is currently a patient with Dr. Shepherd. I have not had to deal with her as I m a night shift nurse that works on an emergency room. However, my mother was hospitalized 3 days ago. We called Dr. Shepherds office to inform her that my mother has pneumonia (lung cancer patient) and is anemic. We asked for a call back. We did not get that kindness. No one called to see how she is doing. My father personally went to her office for answers. He saw Dr Shepherd. He said hello to her. She just turned around and walked away without acknowledging him at all. While I personally realize how busy it is to work in healthcare....compassion would be nice.
