  I do not even really want to give one star. I was given a home sleep study. That was not necessarily a bad thing but no one EVER offered to discuss those results with me. Also, when I finally received a call that I thought would be to schedule an appointment to go over said results, I was told I qualified for an in-office sleep study. So I scheduled that and then my follow-up only to then have them call back 15 minutes later and tell me that was not actually what the doctor wanted and they were instead sending me somewhere else to get a machine and then we would follow up 2 weeks after that. After this mix-up I wanted to go somewhere else and be done with them so I called the insurance company to ask them why I was not approved for an in-office, comprehensive sleep study. They told me that a claim for that had been filed a couple of days before and I HAD been approved for one. So, together, we called the office back and asked about it and the response was, "Oh yeah. That was a mistake. You need to delete that." So...had I not called, I am guessing that would have been billed to my insurance even though I had never done an in-office study. When I finally asked to get my sleep results, I had to send them a handwritten note in order to get them to release them to me. I finally got those and when I went to pick up my apap machine at another facility, they told me that those results didn't really tell them anything about my condition and that the instructions as to what type of mask I was supposed to have wasn't clear either. So needless to say I have major trust issues with the way they handle (or do not handle) things and the fact that they clearly do not have it together. Not being able to sleep is already stressful enough without having to have this added stress of not being told what's going on or constantly being given wrong information or NO information at all. I would NEVER recommend this office to anyone.

  Very professional and helpful office staff. They are knowledgeable and have respect for their clients. Dr. Das takes all the time he needs to talk about your health. He is willing to answer all your questions and explain why to follow the treatment plan he has prescribed. I am very pleased to have him both as a primary care physician and a sleep medicine doctor.

  I recently moved to Clarke County, with different health insurance and my previous doctor's being over an hour away-I was nervous to have to change primary care physicians. Dr. Das and his staff were a nice, warm welcome to Athens (the ladies up front are so helpful and funny). Dr. Das was extremely thorough on my first visit and answered all of my questions. He and his staff were patient, kind and made me feel at home. They even helped me find local specialists for my endocrinology and gynecological needs. I recommend Dr. Das for anyone looking for a new PCP.
